On my great grandmother's death CERT from NYC in 1947, there is a notation
that her "usual residence" was an address that I do not recognize. Can someone
tell me if it was a hospice, or nursing home, retirement home, or otherwise?
The address is 200 Autumn Ave. in Kings, NY. This not the home address
which I know from the census and from old photos; does anyone know this address
from 1947 in NY? Was it a private home or was it a sanitorium -- I have no
family or distant relatives that lived at that address, so this new to me to
see it as her "usual residence."
