Dear Listers,

Just received the death certificate of my GGM, Johanna Mary Murphy [who also
used the name, Josephine], born in Ireland, 2/12/1879, and died in NYC in
1947.

With it I finally found out the name of her mother, my GGGM, Bridget
Kavanaugh & her father, my GGGF, James Murphy.

Since I received this DC over two months ago, I have searched every possible
way, but have found no records at all of any Bridget Kavanaugh or James
Murphy from their time frame in Ireland. Can anyone help me?

I am guessing that my GGM was not an only child, and so, it is not easy to
figure out her parents birth dates. The DC does not state a birthplace for
any of the persons listed, except that they all were born in Ireland. Can
anyone help me, please?
