Subject: Irish Language Events with Lehman College & Irish Arts Center
We take a break from our usual lectures to bring your attention to a number
of Irish language gatherings being sponsored by Lehman College and the Irish
Arts Center.
Lá Gaeilge. On Saturday 11th November the Irish Arts Center will host a
total immersion Irish Language Day from 11am 4pm. The event is open to
students of all ages and levels of proficiency and will feature adult
classes; Gaelic Kids, a language class for 5-12 year olds; film screenings;
a conversation hour and much more! Fees are $10 for I.A.C. members and $12
for non-members. Price includes light refreshments. To reserve a place in a
class (Beginner, Intermediate/Advanced), please contact Brí Murphy-Mitchell

Tae & Comhrá. Every Monday night at 7PM at the Irish Arts Center, Irish
Language tea & chat as Gaeilge. Whether you are a complete beginner or

Irish language trip to Ireland. Study Abroad in Galway. Lehman Colleges
Prof. Thomas Ihde will take a group to the Galway Gaeltacht for two weeks in
January (6-20) for an immersion Irish language course for complete
