Rich,

I think we've touched base before, but I might have a bit more info now. I
had Murphys in that neighborhood, about 8 blocks away on Court Street in
1900. A Charles Murphy married Margaret Kennedy in Ireland (don't know where
yet), they came over and had about 8 children, born in the 1850s and 60s.
One was my g-grandfather, Michael Murphy, who married Annie Ryan abt.
1890-95. Michael's siblings were John, Mary, Charles, Bernard, George,
Margaret, and Sarah. At least they were listed as such in the census. Any
sound familiar? I don't know what happened to any of them, yet, although I
think Mary may have married someone with the last name of Lewis.

Best,
John
