It could be just what it says -bowel obstruction- we had a friend who
developed a bowel obstruction about ten years ago. Surgery was performed,
but there was still some seepage -an infection set in, and he died. There
was no sign of a carcinoma. He had a lot of allergies, and took several meds

for them. The doctors thought the original obstruction may have been a
reaction to a med. Scary thought!
