Not sure if this link will work, but here goes:
http://www.castlegarden.org/quick_search_result.php?p_first_name=albert&p_last_name=burgdorf&m_arrival_date_start=1820&m_arrival_end=1913&submit.x=52&submit.y=15

If not, I think you'll find him at www.castlegarden.org. This is where immigrants would go when they arrived in the 1880's. There is an Albert Burgdorf, a laborer aged 35, who arrived with a family on 6/3/1889 from Germany, on the ship Waesland.

I am new to site. Am searching Albert Burgdorf 1853-1908, the brother of my great grandfather, who immigrated to Long Island City from Gadenstedt, Germany, in June 1887. His wife was Minnie and children were Hermann, Albert, Richard, Otto, Lizzie, Annie, & Frances. Any info greatly appreciated.
