Is this also known as the "Battle of Long Island"? Forgive me, I'm a native Californian and am not proficient in New York geography? And, if so, are descendents of Loyalists welcome? My 4th great grandfather, Richard Totten, fought in the Battle of Long Island, but as a Loyalist.
