I remember growing up in the Rochester area. I had an article
published not to long ago about the old Sibleys store in Rochester, and how I
remember as a small child watching the "tubes" that carried the customers
money in a canister along the ceiling and disappearing from site. Soon the
"tube " would reappear with your change. Fascinating for a child to watch.
Anyone else remember this pre-cash register system.
