Peter Ginther, of Corona, S. D., formerly of Mohawk Hill, is spending a few weeks with friends in Lewis county and looking over'the-scones of years ago when he resided here. He moved from Mohawk Hill (NOTE added: West Turin, Lewis County, New York where his parent and relatives--

from Herbitzheim / Herstom / Herston, Alsace, France/Germany settled 1820s-1860s) 24 years ago and now has a farm of 1,120 acres in the fertile fields of Dakota. He raises wheat, oats, hogs and cattle. The crops have been good this year and he has harvested 18,000 bushels of grain. His old time friends are pleased to note his prosperity in the west.
