Just wanted to let everyone know about
an interesting weekend of Civil War programing
on C-Span 2 "Book TV"

I just discovered the channel. It is Channel 41 on my
local cable system.

For the 48 hours of this weekend there will be
discussions with authors like Shelby Foote, James Mc Phearson and several
others about the Civil War.

There are tours of Civil War battle fields ( Cedar Mountain?
or Cedar Creek and
Gettysburg) ... discussion.

There is a talk about a 12 year old buggler boy
Gustave Sherman of the 140th NY Inf and a book
about him.

The segments are being repeated so, if anyone
wants to watch or tape them, you still may have
time.
