Dear List Members,

I have an ancestor that I was told :
Died on a Naval Vessel durning the War of the Rebellion in 1862.

His name was Cornelius Britton SIMONSON,b.Aug.1838 on Staten Island,NY.
parents were Jacob and Jemima Enyart SIMONSON,S.I.,N.Y.

I have tried to get information on him from N.Y.State.They had no
record.
The death was recorded in a Simonson Bible that apparently is held by
the Holland Society,NYC.The data was given to me by another Simonson
researcher and
all the other information was acurate.

Cornelius B.Simonson was the brother of my G-Grandmother Frances
Simonson CADMUS.Therefore;he would be my g-uncle.

I would appreciate any advise that would leed me to information
on his Ship and where and when he died.Aslo where he is buried;
if that was possible.

Thank you for any assistance.

Best Regards,
Barbara Lemal Cain
Brielle,N.J.
