Subject: [NY-OCGS] Wonderful News!!!!! We have a replacement speaker for Tomorrow Evening!

I am delighted to announce that our Speaker for the Feb. 10th, 2002 meeting
of the Orleans County Genealogical Society will be Mr. David Dickenson, Past
Niagara County Historian and one fantastic speaker.

"Dave" will be speaking on the role of historians and genealogists as
advocates for historic preservation. He will present three separate examples
of how easy it is to forget our heritage and the lessons to be learned from
our heritage.

Dave was the keynote speaker at the State Convention of the NYS DAR two years
ago when this convention was held in Rochester, NY. He was absolutely
wonderful and I know everyone will enjoy his presentation!
