Rochester, NY
MURPHY--Suddenly, March 1, 1922, Michael P. MURPHY, at his home, No. 725 Park avenue. He was born in Canada and came to the United States when a young man. Upon the outbreak of the Civil war he enlisted for five years in Company A, Sixteenth Infantry. He was a member of O'Rourke Post, G.A. R. and the Holy Name Society of the Blessed Sacrament Church. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sadie McGRATH. Funeral will take place Saturady morning at 9:15 o'clock from the home and at 9:30 from the Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment in the family lot at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
MEINKE--At St. John's Home in South avenue, Mrs. Dora MEINKE, aged 89 years. She leaves a son, Richard E MEINKE, two sisters, Rickie BESTMAN? and Miss Sophie MEIER and two grandchildren, Edward F. and Joseph H. MEINKE. The funeral will take place Friday afternoon, March 3, 1922 at 3 o'clock from the chapel of St. John's Home for the Aged, in South avenue. Interment will be made in the family lot at Mount Hope cemetery.
NELSON--Suddenly at his home in Adams Basin, Wednesday evening, March 1, 1922, Lloyd Richard NELSON, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Richard NELSON in his tenth year. Besides his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.P. NELSON. Funeral services Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Spencerport, Rev. James F. WINTERS officiating. Interment in Holy Sepulchre cemetery, Rochester.
RYAN==Mrs. Mary RYAN died Wednesday evening evening, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William J. SIMPSON, No 187 Averill avenue. She is survived by three daughters, Miss Kate RYAN of Conesus, N.Y., Mrs. Mary RADIE and Mrs. William J. SIMPSON of Rochester, one son Dennis F. RYAN and six grandchildren. Funeral Saturday morning, March 4, 1922 from the home on her daughter, Mrs. William J. SIMPSON, No. 187 Averill avenue at 8:30 from St. Mary's Church. Interment will be made in the family lot at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
STOLZ--Bessie M. STOLZ died Wednesday, March 1, 1922 at the family home, No. 59 Post avenue. She leaves her mother, Mary K. SOLTZ, one sister, Florence M. STOLZ and one brother, Raymond E. STOLTZ of Brooklyn. Funeral Saturday mornings at 9:15 o'clock from the house and 10 o'clock from St. Augustine's Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre cemetery in the family lot.
SMITH--Entered into rest, Wednesday morning, March 1, 1922 at his home, No. 71 South Union street, Olin Smith, aged 80 years. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Cora E. MARRIOTT. Funeral from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial at Webster, N.Y.
SCHREIER--At Long Beach, Cal., March 1, 1922, Carrie SCHREIER, wife of Joseph A. SCHREIER, of No. 46 Augustine street, this city.
