I have a copy of an Indenture between the NY Foundling Hospital, issued under the Laws of the State of New York, placing my mother with her "adoptive" parents in 1916. Is there any futher documentation that would have been registered at the State level in this time period?

Second, since the "adoptive" parents resided in the Boro of the Bronx, and the NY Founding was located in the Boro of Manhattan, in which county/state court should I be looking for this data?
