Nicholas Evrard (aka Evard, Avard, Everard)came to the USA in January, 1851, from Alsace-Lorraine, France, and landed at the NYC port. He moved to Lewis County in the New Bremen township, near the village of Beaver Falls where he was a farmer. He is buried in a cemetery in the village very close to the Beaver River. He was born in the 1820s and died about 1905-1906.

I cannot find his birth, marriage, and death records yet he may have lived within a mile of a brother (Christopher Everard). He was naturalized circa 1856. We believe he came to this country on the same ship with Christopher Everard (aka Evrard, Avard).
