Am trying to prove that 1 of the 2
Owen MORRIS or Morris OWENS, listed below, is my great grand uncle. He
was born ca 1832 in Wales, married ca 1852 Elizabeth JONES possibly in
Utica, Oneida Co., NY [New York], and died 14 Oct. 1876 in Poultney, VT
[Vermont].

Children born in either Granville, Washington Co., NY, or Poultney,
Rutland Co., VT, were:
Rowland Jr., Elizabeth [izzie], Mary F., Susan, William R., Edward P.,
Matilda R., ?J.J.?, and Margaet [Maggie].

1)  Owen MORRIS b abt 1832 Llanystymdwy, Caernarvonshire, Wales. 
Residence:  Civil Parish/Township - Criccieth; Town - Criccieth; 
County - Caernarvonshire.  Father, Owen MORRIS, age 63,
pauper-laborer; mother, Catherine, age 63; siblings - Lowrey (?),
female, 22.  There is also a granddaughter, Jane age 2 living with
them.  Owen's occupation is Carrier.

2)  Owen MORRIS b abt 1831 Llanfrothen, Merionethshire, Wales. 
Residence:  Civil Parish/Township - Ynyscynhaiarn; County -
Caernarvonshire.  Owen is a slate merchants clerk and head of
household.  Living with him is a sister Jane, age 25.
