The book recently mentioned ,The Irish Bridget,by Brennan should be interesting.I had the opportunity to hear Ms.Brennan speak about her book,before it was published.It includes some actual pictures of Irish maids,some even from this area.She spoke about her book last fall at a continuing education course for Oasis at SUNY. After her lecture,I spoke with her briefly,and she did say,that if it fit into her schedule,she would possibly be available to speak before our group. Just a thought. Mimi Nicotina
