Most likely the replacement stone was purchased directly from a cemetery
monument dealer so I would suggest checking the local yellow pages and
calling nearby dealers. They are listed under "Monuments" in my local
yellow pages.

Subject: Nile Cemetery stone
This is probably a really long shot, but hey you never know!
Last weekend we visited Nile Cemetery in Nile, Allegany Co. to visit and
photograph the headstone of my GG-Grandparents-Andrew & Lydia Allen.
Had no problem finding it, thanks to directions from people on this list.
Now...
the stone is obviously a replacement stone and I thought if I could find who
replaced the stone perhaps I could make a family connection. I called
Truesdell Funeral Home in Friendship and Crandall's Monuments in Caneadea,
but they had no information.
Does anyone have any ideas where to go from here or would there be the
remote possibility that some one on these lists actually knows who did
replace this monument.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or info.
Marsha
