It happens. My family in 1930 in Cook County is nowhere to be found in the
census files - nor is anyone in the surrounding area.
I wonder if the error is not in the filming of the files. My mother took
the census in South Holland, IL that year and I have found her hand written
records on film, but nothing on her family. We lived about eight miles
away...
