Okay, thanks for the info. So now I'm really at a dead end. I don't know
any of the churches there, but since they were German emigrants, I would
assume it would be a church where they spoke German (?) Is there anyone on

Yo would have to get an old church record as Albany does not have
records prior to 1870.
