You're the boss, but I'd rather the NYALBANY list continued to be for
the discussion of genealogy related stuff *as it relates to Albany*.
Whether it's Albany families, Albany history, or researching in the
Albany area.

There are already lots of general 'learning how to do genealogy'
lists/newsgroups. I subscribe to NYALBANY to learn [and hopefully
share some knowledge I might have] about the Albany area. I've been
actively working on lines at the other ends of the state lately, but
keep browsing this list & picking up various tidbits from time to
time.

I'd prefer to see more of the informative posts about what the Cap
Dist Gen. Group is up to-- or historical happenings in Albany. [I just
noticed sunday that the Half Moon replica ship is docked in Albany
through next sunday. ]

How about a review of The Kinship CD for O'Callahan's 'Documentary
History'? I nearly fell over when I discovered that all those 'Doc
Hist' citations in Pearsons could be checked on for $35.<g>
