Following up on a post about the "Gardinier Patent" I consulted my Columbia
County history books, which I should have done when Yvonne first posted.

Derrick Gardineer and John Gardineer are listed as being Freeholders in
Kinderhook in 1720. Aaron Gardinier was a prominent attorney in the 1800's.
I haven't found the "Gardinier Patent" yet but I bet I have something
here...somewhere.

I now have lots of bits and pieces, but have deleted Yvonne's original post
and her address. YVONNE!!! SEND MAIL!!!
