J.
Thanks for the offer of assistance as I sure could use all the help that I
can get.
Most of what I have compiled is at www.kingspage.com/familyweb2
This site was a lot larger (over 1000 names) until I discovered a lot of
mistakes. So I am redoing/ going back over the sources that I had found
before, in order to confirm my information. You will note that I have
several branches that are not connected, because I have yet to find the
link!!
I have discovered that the VanOcker's can be found t/o the US. My Father was
born around the Buffalo NY area and several generations of VanOcker seem to
be found around the East Coast, I suspect that is where the family began
their new life in the New World?? Whatever their names where then?? I have
been able to find a direct link back to Peter Levi VanOcker b. 1769, place
unknown, d. July 6, 1848, NY buried: Caldwell Corners Cemetery, Freedom,
Cattaraugus County, New York. He married a lady named Charlotte ???
1777-1855. The source of this information is unconfirmed!!!
As I said before, ANY HELP that anyone could provide is much appreciated.
And hopefully I can reciprocate somehow.
Ray VanOcker Jr.
