I got the virus via someone on the Del. co. list. What happened was that I
responded to one of her queries on the list and I got an attachment back. I
had realized thank god from someone posting on one of the lists what to look
for.

<< Gerry,
How could you think that you got a virus from this "site" and then say, "The
virus uses YOUR NAME and auto sends millions of these things out, so it looks
like they are coming from a person you know."? That pretty much indicates
that it didn't come from the Albany mailing list site.
RootsWeb does not allow attachments to be received by them, or to be sent by
them. So, you are protected from getting a virus from this mailing list.
Just check the name of the person who sent the attachment. The virus came
from that person's computer.
