Peter,

I was not aware that New Scotland had a website. Can you give us the web
address and some details on their book?

I am a 5 gg son of William through his daughter Janet (or Jennet), born
1768 in Scotland who married Andrew Murray, born 1758 in Scotland.

Both William Allen and his son-in-law Andrew Murray were Revolutionary
War veterans.
If you have information on William Allen or any of his relatives,
please let me know. We may be able to help each other.
My mother was a Murray.
