Thank you so much for offering to look up names.
my family lived in this area for a long time
there are a couple different spellings..Drinkwater, D.water,DeWater (s)
orig from scotland to maine, mass conn New York- some from the beginning
my grt--- fought for the loyalist and there was where the name chg came
in..he was Samuel..he died in that area but as yet I've not made it back
there..hope to but health has prevented it. I live in california
if I can help you Jean please let me know I will do all i can.
I appreciate this so very much.. and any ideas where I can extend my search
in albany would be appreciated..I've made numerous long distance calls
regarding same and nothing..
