Ginger,
Brady Hospital was at 40 North Main Avenue in Albany (1915-1966). The present offices of the Albany Diocese are there. See my Guide to Albany Area Genealogical Resources for more information which is included in the write-up for the Albany Roman Catholic Dioceses - Archives Office.
I phoned the archives and was told that when Brady closed in 1966, their medical records were transferred to St. Peter's Hospital. I phoned the medical office, but they only deal with recent records. They said that you could call Matt at 518-525-1212. He should be in on Friday. He is the person who deals with all of the old records.
It is possible that the records may have been put on fiche or microfilm and don't exist in hard copy any longer. It is worth checking that possibility if you are told that they don't have them any longer.
Best of luck.
Cliff

I just received my birth certificate from the State of New York and it shows that I was born in BRADY MATERNITY HOSPITAL in Albany, NY on October 18, 1948. I have never even heard of that hospital. Was it part of Albany Med or perhaps merger with Albany Med? Does anyone know where in Albany it was located and what could have happened to it's old records? I'm curious about the records because I know I was in the hospital for three months after my birth and I would like to see the actual reason.
