I will chime in with all the others.. your questions were perfectly
appropriate in nature...
Keep up the hard work on your family tree...
Questions are what it is all about... A few years ago, I saw someone
posting about a surname "HARRING".. According to family sources, my great
grandfathers sister married a gentleman with the name of "HERRING".
I sent off a question asking if he thought the spelling of the names were
interchangable.
His response was not only is the spelling interchangable, the lady in
question was his grandmother...
He and I have been happily trading family stories ever after...
