I am looking for info on the William Campbell below in 1790 before and
after 1790. Who is he and where did come from? Does anybody have any info
on any William Campbell who served in the War of 1812 from Albany County?

1790 Census
William Campbell lived in Rensselearville page 34 with 1 male over 16, 6
males under 16, and 2 females.


I am a descendant of Hugh Campbell who married Emma Holmes living in
Rennsselearville before moving to Perrysburg, Cattaraugus County in 1816. I
am looking for info on Hugh's father who might be the William Campbell in
1790 described above.
