Thanks, Shirley. I am looking for the birth record for my grandmother,
Mabel Keene, born December, 1873 (not exactly sure of year...can't be sure
she used her actual age on marriage record in Manhattan). Her parents were
Anna Gifford and Edward Keene. Also she always said her mother died in
childbirth (when my grandmother was 2 years old) so that may also be a
record to look for in Albany. All I have is memories of things she said
when I was growing up (besides the marriage record). I was hoping to get up
to Albany, but that hasn't happened yet. I wish I could be sure of the
year.

Joan, What are the full names and dates you are looking for? We go to the
