Hi Valerie,
If you live in NY State you can order films from your local library and
they will be sent to that library (or whichever library you choose). I
don't think NYS libraries ship (lend) outside of NYS, but that could be
wrong. I believe that you can also order from LDS centers. Someone on the
list surely knows more than I do.
I am still waiting for a death certificate that I mailed Aug. 2nd. I
thought at that time it took 6 months, and only recently had gotten up to 10
months. I'm relieved to hear you sent for one in July that hasn't arrived.
Now I won't worry that mine is lost.

I know it takes quite awhile to receive death certificates from NYS. I sent
for a couple back in July and am still waiting for them!!! Do you have any
suggestions as to how & where to newspaper film? Thanx a whole bunch,
