I'm looking for someone to look up a birth certificate # in the New York
State Library. I'd be happy to pay for expenses. I've looked on an LDS microfilm
record. The record I need is at the very bottom of the page in the lower
right hand corner and is not clear. I've tried with the magnification of a good
microfilm reader, printed it several times and tried with a magnifying glass
and still cannot read it.

The page number is at the bottom and is 971
The last entry on the page is:
Johnson, Male birth date is March appears to be a 04 or 09, year 1909. The
certificate # is in the last column.

For clarification, the entry above is Johnson, Anthony J.

My interest is the Johnson, Male

Does anyone go to the State Library who would be willing to look this up?
I'm hoping the microfiche copies they have there show the same page numbers as
the microfilm copy.
