I just wanted to thank everyone that responded to my previous query/questions.

If anyone has any additional info on researching records about adoptees, questions to ask in researching, clues to look for, who to ask, what kind of records to look for on the child, any specific secrets/suggestions/tips that they have found helpful in their search, I would appreciate any and all help. This is a new area for me in my genealogy research and I seem to be having some difficulty getting started.

When a child is placed in an orphanage, what kind of info, if any, is given on that child's natural parents? What kind of info, if any, is given on the adoptive parents? What kind of info, if any, is given on the child? What do I have to do to obtain the info on any of these people?
