I have a question. While searching the Bklyn Directories in the LDS branch
today I came across an early entry for an ancestor.BUT the occupation has me
stumped. No one in the library knew the ans.
1877/78 Directory
add. for the occ.
89 n 2nd

Anyone have any idea what this would be ?? The letters are correct, had
several people double check for me. Never seen this before.

Anyone know where WHIPPLE st or Ave was in the 1860's????
