My greatgrandparents lived in Brooklyn on Sterling St in 1942. Their names were Robert Lackey Sr. and Alicia D Lackey. They had three daughters Isabel and Mary who were twins and my mother Jean K. Lackey. I am looking for history on relatives past my greatgrandparents and dont know where or how to look. Would this address on them in 1942 tell me anything. My greatgrandfather was stationed at Camp Upton during the time the family resided in Brooklyn. Would any one know where I should start looking. I am from Texas and dont have much knowledge on the Brooklyn area but I do have that address. If anyone would have a census from that time maybe they could check and see if the Lackey family is listed anywhere. I believe my grandfather was born in New York in 1907 or around that time. Any suggestions would be surely appreciated. Thanks to all Lauren
