Subject: [NYBROOKLYN] Research trip - hotel suggestions please

I'm going to take a quick trip from North Carolina to NYC for genealogy
research next week and would like suggestions for hotels. It's my first
time in NYC in a loooong time and my first genealogy research trip, so
don't assume that I know anything - all suggestions are welcome. I'll
only be in town for two days so want to make the most of my visit.

A little while back someone suggested the Comfort Inn in Bay Ridge -
that sounded like one good option but I would like to hear from others,
too.

In addition to the NYPL and the Municipal Archives I'd like to visit Holy
Cross and Calvary in Queens, if that makes a difference - and I'll have a
car, though I know that is usually a handicap in the city.
