Noticed the caveat posted by Pat Giovanni on the Bklyn Daily Standard
Union-July 27, 1887
That's an excellent idea to say that it's a verbatim transcription. A newbie
might misinterpret what you're posting.
Also noticed that somehow the paper missed insulting the Irish that day.
We've come a long way.
Thanks Pat for the great job. I read your transcriptions with more interest
that I do my daily paper.
