Hi Nancy etal: RE: my g grandparents that were listed in the Brooklyn
Standard that was put on this gen email list showing them for 23 Sep 1923.

I had sent it first to Brooklyn with check using form online from Brooklyn
page Nancy has, and they sent it back to me showing: 'NY City' in red and
told me to send request to Office of City Clerk with $10 certified check or
money order. I did not have access to going to town(50 mi)and getting one
and others said they had sent regular personal checks, but they turned mine
down......

I now got a form back from the Marriage License Bureau saying i have to send
a $15 money order only.....and to send it to Manhattan Municipal Bldg 1
Centre St, Rm 252, NYC NY 10007.....

I have never had such a problem getting records anywhere else, as i do in
NY......do they think i am a MT hick?
