HERKIMER TO PAY HIS WIFE $75 A MONTH
Dr. Robert H. HERKIMER, chief sanitary inspector of Brooklyn, who recently
instituted proceeding against his wife in connection with the custody of
their 11 year old daughter, Olivia, and who in turn has been charged by Mrs.
HERKIMER with making presents of pink silk hose to other women, has agreed
to settle the case out of court. This action on the part of Dr. HERKIMER is
due to the friendly intervention of Rev. Father NASH of the Sacred Heart
Roman Catholic Church in Clermont avenue.

The understanding arrived at provides that Olivia is to live with her mother
at 113th street, Manhattan, and is to see her father from Friday until
Sunday each week and half of vacation time in summer. The doctor is to pay
his wife $75 a month, and no further legal steps, so far as known, will be
taken.
