Hi List,

I am searching for information on GEORGE THOMSON
b. England and his wife
MARGARETH b. Scotland. I believe they immigrated
from Scotland in 1856.
I know of one son, GEORGE b. ca. 1845 Scotland.
He married Mary TILLARY, also born Scotland ca.
1846. (Mary's mother was also Mary (unknown)TILLARY.)

Their children were:

William Wallace THOMSON married Mary SWARTZ,
Children: Ida, William and Walter

Mary (THOMSON) YOUNG married Matthew S. YOUNG,
No Children born to this union **(see below)

George THOMSON married Jesse GRAHAM,
Known Children: Elizabeth (died before 1910), Isabella, George, Jr.

Elizabeth (THOMSON) ROBINSON married William ROBINSON,
Known Children: Helen

and Ida(?)THOMSON (unknown if ever married).

I am descended from William Wallace
THOMSON...who married Mary SWARTZ
and their children were IDA, WILLIAM and WALTER.
However, I believe
William Wallace and Mary seperated or divorced
as Mary lived (I'm told)
until the mid 1940's and yet her children were
raised by William
Wallace's parents and sister Mary, with her
husband Matthew Young.**

They all lived in the Williamsburg and
Greenpoint areas of Brooklyn, NY.

Names associated with this THOMSON line are
MURPHY, DAVISON, SWARTZ, GRAHAM, ROBINSON,
YOUNG, CASSIN, REARDON, MCGEE, JARVIS, SEILER,
HENNESSEY.

I'd love to find some cousins out there so we
can share information.
