The diocese of brooklyn included Long Island until recently; like wise the
diocese of brooklyn was created out of the diocese of ny. the orginal
diocese contains the early records.

I have a Thomas F. Murray born NYS 7-31-1881 ordained 4-25-1908 St. Johns,
Brooklyn; served S Thomas Aq, 4 Av 1916; St Patriakc, Huntington-1942;
Member School Board-Supervisor Catholic Charties, Suffork

I have only records until 1942.
