I would like to get a marriage license for my grandparents who were
married in January of 1906 in New York - either the city or more likely,
Brooklyn. Through this I hope to learn my grandmother's mother's name,
which no one in the family knows. She probably did not come to this
country, but this record just might have her name. Were there records
kept at this time, and where would I write?
