OBITUARIES

DELIA SWATISH
Delia SWATISH, of 481 Prospect place, died yesterday. She was born in
England and had been a resident of Brooklyn for forty-one years. She
was a members[sic] of St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Classon avenue, where
requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 A.M. Friday. She is survived by
two daughters, Mrs. C. PAULSEN and Mrs. M.E. MASSEY, and two grandsons,
James and George. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery under
direction of P.J. HUGHES, 179 Fulton street.

ANNIE LONG
Annie LONG died Sunday at her home, 1669 East Thirty-fourth street. She
was formerly a resident of the Fourth Ward of Manhattan. She was for
twenty-eight years a resident of Windsor Terrace. She is survived by a
daughter, Lillian BISHOP, and a sister, Mary CONNORS. The funeral will
be held at 9 A.M. to-morrow with a requiem mass at the R.C. Church of
the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Fort Hamilton, Windsor Terrace. Interment
will be at Calvary Cemetery, under direction of E.F. HIGGINS, 1286
Prospect avenue.

THOMAS J. HEALY
Thomas J. HEALY, a well known business man of Brooklyn, who retired a
few years ago, died Monday at his home, 639 Carroll street. He was the
son of the late Thomas and Mary BRADY HEALY, and was a member of St.
Francis Xavier R.C. Church, where a solemn requiem will be celebrated
Friday at 10 A.M. He is survived by his wife, Ellen E. SULLIVAN HEALY;
one daughter, Miss Florence G.HEALY, and three sons, Lieut. Thomas C.
HEALY, N.Y.P.D., attached to Forty-third precinct; Alfred J. and Walter
B. HEALY, and two sisters, Mrs. Libby BALLENTINE, of Manhattan, and Miss
Sarah, known in religion as Sister Mary Pauline of the Convent of Mercy,
Perth Amboy, N.J. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery under direction
of William DUNIGAN & SON, Rogers avenue and Montgomery street.

LINDA SEVESO
Linda SEVESO, born in Italy seventy-five years ago and a resident of
Brooklyn for forty-three years, died Monday at her home, 7719 Fifteenth
avenue. She is survived by her daughter, Angelina, a teacher in the New
Utrecht High School, Bath Beach. She was formerly a member of the
societies of St. Michael's Church on Concord and Prince streets, of
which Rev. Father Joseph R. AGRELLA was the pastor. Burial from late
home, Thursday at 10 A.M. with high mass at St. Rosalia Church,
Sixty-fourth street and Fourteenth avenue. Burial in Calvary Cemetery
under direction of Ernest CASAZZA & SON, 186 Navy street.

ELIZABETH T. STERLING
Elizabeth T. STERLING died Monday at her home, 154 Prospect Park West.
She was born in Ireland seventy-eight years ago and had been a resident
of Brooklyn for seventy-seven years. She is survived by two sons,
George and Charles, and two daughters, Mrs. Thomas McNICHOLAS and Ellen
STERLING. The funeral will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, with a requiem
mass at the R.C. Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Prospect Park West
and Prospect avenue. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery under
direction of Harry M. ROBBINS, 10 161st street, Jamaica.

JOHN GALVIN
John GALVIN died yesterday at the home of his son, Edward J. GALVIN,
393[?] Seventh street. He was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, and had been a
resident of Brooklyn for forty-five years. He was thirty years employed
by the Department of Water Supply. He is survived by three
grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, and interment
will be at Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of FEENEY & SONS, 1857
Broadway.

JOSEPH BROWARSKI
Joseph BROWARSKI died Tuesday at his home, 666 Fifty-first street. He
was in his fifteenth year. He was born in Brooklyn and is survived by
his parents, three brothers, Sigmund, Stanley and Edward and two
sisters, Lottie and Mary. The funeral will be held at 9:30 A.M. Friday,
with a requiem mass at the R.C.Church of Our Lady of Czenstochowa,
Twenty-fourth street, near Fourth avenue. Interment will be at Holy
Cross Cemetery under direction of John F. JUREK, 728 Fourth avenue.

AMELIA SAUERBRUN
Funeral services will be held at 8 P.M. to-morrow at the funeral chapel
of the estate of George PETH, 15 Palmetto street, for Amelia SAUERBRUN,
a resident of Brooklyn for sixty years, who died yesterday at her home,
563 Willoughby avenue. She was formerly for many years a parishioner of
the Harrison Avenue Evangelical Church, and at the time of her death was
a member of the Jefferson Avenue Evangelical Salems Church. She was a
member of the board of trustees of the German Evangelical Home for the
Aged. She is survived by a daughter, Lillian A.; a son, Harry J., and a
granddaughter, Evelyn. The Rev. T.S. GARBR will officiate and interment
Friday will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

KATHRYN C.M. SEELIG
Kathryn C.MAQUIRE SEELIG died Monday at the home of her father, John T.
MAGUIRE [note different spelling], 335 Thirty-sixth street, in her
forty-third year. She is survived in addition to her father, by her
husband, Joseph C. SEELIG; four sons, John, Joseph, William and George
SEELIG; two daughters, Anna and Kathryn SEELIG; a brother, John
T.MAGUIRE, JR; and three sisters, Mary E. MAGUIRE, Mrs. Joseph McKEON
and Mrs. Margaret TAYLOR. The funeral will be held at 8:30 A.M.,
to-morrow, with a requiem mass at the R.C. Church of St. Michael, Fourth
avenue and Forty-second street. Interment will be at Holy Cross
Cemetery under direction of Robert R. DONOVAN, 2089 Fulton street.

JOHN SHIELDS
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. to-morrow at the R.C.
Church of St. Thomas Aquinas, Fourth avenue and Ninth street, for John
SHIELDS, who died Monday at his home, 388 Seventh street. He is
survived by three sons, John, Hugh and Anthony SHIELDS. Interment will
follow at Calvary Cemetery.

MARY ELLEN MURPHY
Mary Ellen MURPHY, daughter of the late Edward and Mary O'CONNELL
MURPHY, died yesterday at her home, 634 Hunboldt street. The funeral
will be held at 10 A.M. Friday with a requiem mass at the R.C. Church of
St. Cecilia, North Henry and Herbert street. She was a resident of the
Eastern District for the past fifty years. She is survived by a sister,
Margaret Theresa MURPHY. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, under
direction of Thomas J. CREAMER, 64 Herbert street.

OREN F. ELSBOUGH
Oren F. ELESBOUGH [different spelling] died to-day at his home, 16002
Hillside avenue, Jamaica. He was born in Kings Park thirty year ago and
lived the past ten years in Queens County. He was for the past two
years engaged in the garage business. He was secretary of the Long
Island Motor Parts Corporation. He was a member of Hillside Lodge, F.
and A.M., Ridgewood Chapter, 253, R.A.M. Pilgrim Commandery, 31 K.T. and
Kismet Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. He is survived by his widow, Agnesbelle;
his parents, Henry F. and Fanny, and a sister, Vyra SCHMIDT. The
funeral chapel of N.F. WALKER, 8607 Jamaica avenue by the Rev. Dr.
Arthus MOSS at 8 P.M. Friday. Interment Saturday at 10 A.M. at
Evergreen Cemetery.

LOTTI MONTESI
Lotti MONTESI died Monday at her home, 2633 East Twenty-seventh street,
Sheepshead Bay. She was thirty-six years old. She is survived by her
husband, Edward MONTESI. The funeral will be held at 10 A.M. to-morrow
with a requiem mass at the R.C.Church of St. Mark, Sheepshead Bay.
Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery under direction of Louis SESSA,
102 President street.

VICTOR H. BRUNS
Victory Henry BRUNS died yesterday at his home, 1219 134th street,
Richmond Hill. He is survived by his widow, Hilda Marie BEYSIEGEL and a
daughter, Gertrude; his mother, Elizabeth BRUNS and a brother, August
Martin BRUNS, JR. He was born in Brooklyn thirty-three yeas ago, a son
of the late August Martin BRUNS. He was president of the August BRUNS
SONS, Corp., manufacturers of awnings and canopies. He was president
of Bushwick Business Men's Club, Anglo Saxon Lodge, 1037 F.& A.M. The
funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. to-morrow by the Rev. Dr.
Lester RAZEY of the VanWyck Congregational Church. Interment will
follow at Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Stephen F. DURYEA.

LOUIS WENZ
Louis WENZ, of 7840 Parkview avenue, Glendale, died Monday in his
fifty-first year. He was a life resident of Brooklyn and is survived by
his widow, Elizabeth, and four daughters, Eleanor, Ruth, Marion and Mrs.
Joseph TOARMINO. The funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. to-morrow
at the BUSS Funeral Home, 2734 Myrtle avenue. Interment will be at
Evergreen Cemetery.

AUGUSTA JONES
Augusta FETTE JONES, died yesterday at her home, 7620 Third avenue. She
was born in Brooklyn sixty-one years ago. She is survived by her
husband, Edwin JONES; five daughters, Adelaide, Margaret, Mabel, Frances
and Ethel; a son, Lester JONES, and two brothers, Fred and Louis FETTE.
She was an active member of the Bay Ridge M.E. Church and the Ladies Aid
Society, the Mother Association and the Home Department attached to that
church. The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. A.A.BOUTON
at 2 P.M., Friday, at the Bay Ridge M.E. Church, Fourth and Ovington
avenues. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery under directon of
George HARRIS.

JOSEPH FERNANDEZ
Joseph FERNANDEZ, of 24 Schermerhorn street, died yesterday. He was
born in Cuba and had been a resident of Brooklyn for the past year. He
is survived by an aunt, Etilina MAYOLL[?]. The funeral will be held at
10 A.M. to-morrow from the funeral chapel of P.J. HUGHES, 179 Fulton
street, and interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

FRANCIS COLLINS
Francis COLLINS died Monday at his home, 473 Sixty-fourth street. He
was born in Ireland sixty-eight years ago and is survived by his widow
Elizabeth; three sons, Daniel, Francis, and John COLLINS. He was a
member of the Holy Name Society attached to the R.C. Church of Our Lady
of Perpetual Help, where requiem mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M.
to-morrow. Interment will be at St.John's Cemetery under direction of
James J. DALY, 459 Fifty-ninth street.

MARY A.WEAVER
Mary A. WEAVER died yesterday at her home, 1226 Hancock street. She was
born in Brooklyn and was a graduate of Parochial School of St. Vincent
de Paul. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; her father, William
DOOLEY, and a brother, James DOOLEY. The funeral will be held either
Friday or Saturday at 9:30 A.M, with a requiem mass at the R.C. Church
of St. Martin of Tours. Interment will be under direction of Alfred
CERASO, 189 Gold street.
