Sidney BOYCE
Sidney BOYCE, born in Brooklyn, the son of Wellington BOYCE and Helen
SAGENDORF BOYCE, died yesterday at his home 111 Vanderbilt Avenue. He was a
graduate of Public School 12 and Boys' High School and for the past ten years
has been employed by G. SIDENBERG Dry Goods Co., of Manhattan. He was a
member of St. marks Episcopal Church on Adelphi Street. The funeral services
will be held at the Red Brick Church at Maladen, N. Y. tomorrow at 2 P. M. He
is survived by his parents and was forty-three years old. Interment will be
at Maladen Cemetery, Malden, N. Y. under the direction of William DUNIGAN &
Son, 201 Park Avenue.
Josephine V. RIGSBY
Josephine V. RIGSBY, widow of William H. RIGSBY, died Saturday. She was
formerly a resident of the old Seventh Ward of Manhattan. She was a member of
the R. c. Church of St. John the Evangelist, where requiem mass will be
celebrated at 9:30 A. M. tomorrow. She is survived by six daughters., Mrs.
Jennie ROTH, Irene, Mrs. Stella HEGERMAN, Mrs. Veronica R. FOLEY, Mrs. Gladys
KELLY and Dorothy, and two sons, Robert J. and Milton G. RIGSBY. The funeral
will be held from her late home, 130 Twenty-second Street, and interment will
be at Calvary Cemetery.
Joseph REINHARDT
Joseph REINHARDT of Glendale died Friday in his sixty-first year. He is
survived by a daughter. The funeral services will be held at 2 P. M. tomorrow
at the BUSS Funeral Home, 2734 Myrtle Avenue. Interment will follow at
Lutheran cemetery.
Mary A. LENNON
Mary a. LENNON, daughter of the late Patrick J. and Elizabeth CONNORS MALONE,
and widow of Andrew J. LENNON, died Saturday at her home, 425 Park Place. She
was born in county Longford, Ireland, and was a resident of Brooklyn for the
past forty-five years. She is survived by two sons, Andrew and William; three
daughters, Mrs. Mae FLETCHER, Bernadette and Catherine LENNON; three
brothers, Thomas, William and Patrick J. MALONE, and five sisters, Mrs. Anna
CONREY, Mrs. Lillian MCKNIGHT, Mrs. Theresa GERAGHTY, Mrs. Marguerite
MCDERMOTT and Josephine MALONE. The funeral will be from her late residence
at 9:30 A. M. Tuesday, with a solemn mass of requiem at St. Joseph's Church,
Pacific Street and Vanderbilt Avenue. Interment will be at Holy Cross
Cemetery, under direction of Ladley & mcMahon, 308 St. James Place.
Catherine KOEHLER
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 A. M. Wednesday at the R. c. Church of
St. Aloysius for Catherine KOEHLER, who died Saturday in her fifty-third year
at her late home, 1879 Stanhope Street. She was born in Brooklyn and was a
member of the St. Aloysius Christian Mothers Society, Purgatorian Society of
the R. C. Church of the Most Holy Redeemer and St. Mathia's Branch 1131,
Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association. She is survived by her husband, Peter
KOEHLER, Sr., one daughter and two sons, Peter, Jr., and Joseph and one
grandchild. Interment will be at St. John's cemetery under direction of B. J.
HOEK & Son, 385 Onderdonk Avenue.
Bertha FRIEDEL
Bertha FRIEDEL died Saturday at her home, 421 Dill place, Glendale in her
twenty-third year. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Helen MAURER and a
sister, Margaret FRIEDEL. The funeral will be held at 10 A. M. tomorrow with
a requiem mass at the R. c. Church of St. Pancras. Interment will be at St.
john's cemetery under direction of William BUSS, 2734 Myrtle Avenue.
Nunzio PIZZULO
Nunzio PIZZULO, infant son of Dominick and Mary PIZZULO, died yesterday at
his parents home, 106 Navy Street. Burial Tuesday afternoon at 2 P. M. with
blessing at St. Miacheal's R. C. Church. Burial in St. John's Cemetery under
direction of Ener T. CASABBA & Son, 186 Navy Street.
Joseph MCGILL
Joseph MC GILL, twelve year old son of Frances and the late Peter MC GILL of
115-07 Liberty Avenue, Richmond Hill died Thursday at the Mary immaculate
Hospital, Jamaica, N. Y. Besides his mother he is survived by a brother
George and three sisters, Frances SHELTER, Catherine and Florence MC GILL.
The funeral was held from the home at Richmond Hill today at 9:30 A. M.,
thence to St. Benedict Joseph R. c. Church. Interment was at St. John's
Cemetery.
