Obituaries

Jacob PFEFFER,died Thursday in the Brooklyn Naval Hospital.He is survived by
his widow,Margaret; one daughter, his father,Wendelin PFEFFER; two
brothers,William and Joseph, and two sisters,Catherine and Mary NEUMAN. He
was employed by the U.S.Postal Service.He was a member of Bedford Post
American Legion. The funeral will be held from the home of his father at 204
Montauk avenue, at 9;30 AM, Monday,with requiem mass at the Church of
St.Rita. Interment with military honors willbe at Holt Trinity Cemetery under
direction of R.C. Donnelly,880 New Lots avenue.

Frederick OVERZAT,died yesterday at his home,132 Ainslie street. He is
survived by his parents,Albert and Beatrice,and two brothers. The funeral
will be held at 2PM,Monday. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery,under
direction of J.J.Gallagher Sons,215 North Eight street.

John MULLER, died yesterday in his 78 year,at his home,365 Evergreen
avenue.He was born in Germany and had been a resident of Brooklyn for
twenty-eight years.He was a retired barber. He was a member of the West Side
Sick Protection Society of Manhattan; Alsace Lorraine.1, of New York;
St.Joseph's Society and the Twentieth A.D. Democratic Club. He is survived by
his widow,Catherine; a son,John,and three daughters,Anna TREBEL, Christine
LANNING and Catherine BASSEMIR. The funeral will be held at 9;30AM,
Monday,with requiem mass at the Church of St.Barbara. Interment will be at
St.John's Cemetery under the direction of William Werst,365 Evergreen avenue.

Wilhelmina J.RUPPERT,died yesterday in her sixty-third year at her home,6137
Zeidler avenue,Maspeth.The funeral will be held at 2PM,Monday.She is survived
by three sons,William, George and John,a sister Mrs.Caroline UNGER. Interment
will be at Evergreen Cemetery,under direction of John Sehy &Son,313 Central
avenue.

Mary Grace CONROY,died yesterday at her home,2512 East Nineteenth street. She
is survived by four daughters. The funeral will be held at 10AM, Monday with
requiem mass at the Church of St.Mark,Sheepshead Bay. Interment will be at
Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of Florence Stewart Tolson,1102 Lincoln
place.

Christine QUINN, died yesterday at her home, 365 Ocean avenue.She is survived
by her husband,John Joseph QUINN; two daughters,Madeline and Helen,two
sons,Johnand Francis; her parents,Michael and Susan McTIGUE, and two
brothers,
John and James. The funeral will be held at 9;30AM, Monday,with requiem mass
at the Church of the Holy Cross. Interment willbe at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Andrew OBRINGER,died yesterday at his home,167A McDougal street.He is
survived by his widow, Catherine; a daughter,Mrs.Andrew TRAPP, and a
son,George E. He was a member of the Church of St.Benedict,where a requiem
mass will be celebrated at 10AM, Monday.Interment will be at Holy Trinity
Cemetery.

Frank ELLINGHAM,of 5401 Avenue M,died Thursday.He was born in the Bedford
section of Brooklyn and lived for the past six years in the Bergen Beach
section of Brooklyn. He is survived by his widow,Louise A.; a son,Walter; a
daughter,Doris; three sisters and four brothers.The funeral services willbe
held at 2PM,Monday.The Rev.Dr.Henri S.GONDRET will officite.Interment willbe
at Evergreen Cemetery.

Thomas YOUNG, died yesterday at his home,8642 108th street,Richmond Hill. He
was a retired member of the New York Police Department and was attached to
the Bedford Avenue Station for many years. He was 81 years old and is
survived by his widow,Frederich M.(PIENAM )YOUNG and two sisters.The funeral
services will be held at 8;30PM., Monday. The Rev.F.A.Bauers,D.D. of
St.John's English Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will
be at 10AM,Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery under direction of Stephen F.Duryea.
