OBITUARIES

George JENNINGS died Wednesday at his home, 169 Schenectady ave. He was born
in England 74 years ago and is survived by his widow, Matgaret, a son George,
a daughter Mrs. Marion SAMUELS, a sister Alice, and 4 brothers, Theodore,
Alfred, Daniel, and Frederick. The funeral will be held at 2:30 P.M. tomorrow
and interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of the
estate D.J. LANGTON & Sons, 74 Utica ave.

Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M Monday at the R.C. Church of the
Precious Blood, for Vincenzo J. LANZA, who died Wednesday at his home, 376
West 9 ave., Astoria. He is survived by his widow Feliciana, 2 daughters
Lucy and Slivia A. and 4 sons, Vito, Dr. Josepg V., Dante, and D. Alfred.
Interment will be at Calvery Cemetery.

Robert J. Mc LAONAN, born in Newark Castle, Glasgow, Scotland, died Thursday,
at his home, 721 51 st. He was a member of the R.C. Church of St. Agatha, 7
ave. and 49 st. He is survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother. The funeral will
be held at 2 P.M. tomorrow and interment will be at St. John's Cemetery under
the direction of Thomas E. CROW, 155 Smith st.

Funeral services were held at 8 o'clock last night for Madeline M. MAGEE, who
died Tuesday at her home, 1472 Bushwick ave. She is survived by her parents
Richard and Sophie MAGEE and a sister Mrs. Ida DECKER. The funeral was held
at 10:30 A.M. today and interment was at Evergreen Cemetery under direction
of J.R. O'CONNOR.

Albert Carl JACOBS died Wednesday at his home, 62 South 8 st. He is survived
by his father Henry JACOBS. The funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock
tonight at the John H. WOODS Funeral Home, 93 Broadway. The funeral will be
held at 2:30 P.M. tomorrow and interment will be at Elmont Cemetery.

William Hunt EDWARDS died yesterday at his home, 1645 Burnett st. He was the
son of the late Daniel and Amy HUNT EDWARDS. He is survived by 2 sons,
William J. and Leonard EDWARDS and 2 daughters Mrs. Ruth VINCENT and Mrs.
Caroline RILE of Hastings N.Y. and several grandchildren The funeral services
will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. J. NOBLE, at 2 P.M. tomorrow. Interment
will be at Elmont Cemetery, Schaghieke N.Y. at P.M. Monday.

Mary QUINN died Thursday at her home, 5807 4 ave. She is survived by 2 sons,
John and David QUINN and 3 daughters, Mrs. Francis HOFFMAN, Mrs. Thomas
CASEY, and Mrs. James McCRUDDEN, 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She
was fomerly a resident of the 12 ward. The funeral will be held at 9:30 A.M.,
Monday, with a requiem mass at the R.C. Church of Our lady of Perpetual Help,
5 ave. and 59 st. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery under the
direction of Joseph REDMOND, 90 KIng st.

Henry SCHMIDT, husband of Catherine SCHMIDT, died yesterday. The funeral
services will beheld at 8 o'clock tonight at the funeral chapel of Thomas J.
CREAMER, 64 Herbert st. Interment will be at 2 P.M. tomorrow at Mt. Olivet
Cemetery.

Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 A.M. Tuesday at the R.C. Church of the
Immaculate Conception, Astoria, for Dr. Aloysius Francis BRIGGS, who died
Thursday at his home, 36-02 Wolcott ave., Astoria. He was born in Brooklyn 47
years ago and had been a practising physician in Astoria for 20 years. He
was a graduate of St. John's College and served as an interne at St. John's
Hospital, Long Island City. He is survived by a daughter Marguerite, a son
Walter, a brother Henry P. and 3 sisters, Sister Auselma, of the Order of
the Sisters of Charity, of Baltimore Md., Mrs. R. BILL, and Mrs. E.SMITH.
Interment will be at St. Jon's Cemetery.

John Arthur GIANOTOS, born June 21, 1920. in Brooklyn and a son of Charles G.
and Emma BORGESON GIANOTOS, died Wednesday in Norwegian Hospital. He is
survived by his parents and his grandmother. Private funeral services will be
held at his late home, 452 Bay Ridge ave.today at 2 P.M. by the Rev. F.
JACOBSON Pastor of the Bethehem Lutheran Church. Interment at Evergreen
Cemetery under the direction fo ERICSON & ERICSON, 500 State st.

Margaret M. FEE died yesterday at her home, 625 Putnam ave. She is survived
by a sister, Catherine FEE. The funeral will be held at 9:30 A.M. Monday with
a requiem mass at the R.C. Church of Our Lady of Victory, Troop ave. and
McDonough st. Interment will be at Calvery Cemetery under the direction of
Martin F. HEALEY, 128 Utica ave

George RITTER died yesterday in his 43 year. He was born in N.Y.C. and was an
electrical engineer. He is survived by his widow Alice, 2 sons, John and
George Jr., his father George, 3 brothers, William, John and Fred, and 4
sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth JACOBS, Mrs. Tillie DIETRICH, Minnie DIETRICH, and
Mrs. Freida FORSHAY. The funeral will be held from his late home, 72-41 16
ln.(Charlotte pl), Glendale, at 2 P.M. Monday. Cremation will follow at Fresh
Pond under the direction of John SHAY & Son, 313 Central ave.

Elizabeth McNAMARA, 2 year old daughter of John J. and Mary GRAHAM McNAMARA,
died Thursday at her home, 351 Prospect ave. She was boRn in South Brooklyn.
Funeral from her late home tomorrow at 2 P.M. She is survived by 3 sisters, 2
grandmothers and grandfather. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery under the
direction of Fred HERBST & Son.
