OBITUARIES
Mary GOUGH died Thursday at her home, 66 Garfield pl. She was born in County
Mayo, Ireland and a resident of Brooklyn for the past 40 years. She was the
widow of Henry GOUGH. She was fomerly a parishioner of St. Augustine's R.C.
Church, lately becoming a member of St Francis Xavier's. She was a member of
the societies attached to the church. She is survived by 1 son, Edwin, 3
daughters, Mrs. James MERRIGAN, Mrs. William McCAULEY, and Mrs. Edward
DAVENPORT, also 6 grandchildren. The funeral will take place from her late
home, Monday 9:30 A.M.; thence to St. Xavier's R.C. Church where a solemn
requiem mass will be celebrated. Intermentat Holy Cross Cemetery.
Agnes L. ROONEY CURD died yesterday at 3214 Ave. M. She is survived by her
husband Ralph B. CURD, 3 Sons, Clement, Ralph, and Chester, 2 daughters, Mrs.
J. HURLEY and Mrs. A. COLTON, 1 sister Mrs. N. HEFFERMAN. She was a former
member of St. Patrick's Church, and for the past year a member of Our Lady
Help of Christians. The funeral will be held from her home, Wednesday at 9:30
A.M. Thence to Our lady Help of Christians, East 28 st. and Ave. M, where a
solemn requiem mass will be celebrated. Interment will be at Holy Cross
Cemetery under the direction of Joseph J. GALLIGAN, 284 Willoughby ave. She
was a life resident of brooklyn.
Angelo YOSSO died Thursday in Brooklyn Hospital. he was born in Italy 69
years ago and is survived by 1 son Frank YOSSO and daughters, Mrs. Margaret
ROMP and Mrs. Julia SCAIZI, and 1 brother Frank YOSSO in Pittsburg and 1
nephew Louis YOSSO. The funeral will be held from 406 Shepard avre., and a
requiem mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church today. Interment
will follow at Calvery Cemetery under the direction of MASINO & TROFO, 426
Graham ave.
Pauline SAENGER, 4? years old died Friday at Flushing Hospital. She is
survived by her husband Frank SAENGER, and 6 children, Johanna, Wilhelmina,
Harry, Marie, William, and Frank. She was a member Lundwwurster Frauen
Verein 1, Bremer Damen Kranken and Sterbe Kasse Schwestern Circle and Gothis
Lodge #629. The funeral services will be held at her home 95-13 43 ave.
(Kingston ave.), Elmhurst N.Y. at 8 o'clock tonight.
Edmund UECKERMAN died Saturday at his home, 1637 Gates ave. He was born in
Brooklyn 8 years ago and is survived by his parents and 1 sister. He was a
pupil at the Parochial School of St. Brigid. The funeral will be held at 2
P.M. tomorrow and interment will be at St. John's Cemetery under the
direction of Mrs. Frances STENGER, 289 St. Nicholas ave.
Lena HANNON died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born in Brooklyn 6
years ago. She lived at 238 Central ave. She was a member of the R.C. Church
of St. Barbara. She is survived by 3 sons, Frank, George and Charles HANNON,
a daughter Mrs. May NASH, 5 sisters, Mrs. Mary BERGOLD, Mrs. Bella KRAFT,
Mrs. Frances SUMMERS, Mrs. Annie CHRISTIAN, and Mrs. Barbara HURSCH. The
funeral will be held at 9 A.M., tomorrow, with a requiem mass at the R.C.
Church of St. Barbara, from the funeral home of Nicholas BLASIUS Jr. & Jr. &
Son, 712 Knicherbocker ave. Interment will be at Calvery Cemetery.
Annie HICKEY died Saturday at her home, 198 Essex st. She was born in
Ireland 76 years ago and has been a resident of Brooklyn for 37 years. She is
survived by 2 nieces Blanche LENAHAN and Mrs. Thomas HAYES and a nephew John
LENAHAN. The funeral will be held at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow with a requiem mass
at the R.C. Church of St. Brigit. Interment will be at Calvery Cemetery,
under the direction of Edward T. KENNEDY, Church and Rogers aves.
