obituaries
Catherine D. GERING, died Friday in Wyckoff Heights Hospital. She was born in
Brooklyn July 26, 1925. She is survived by her parents Henry and Margaret
GERING. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 P.M. from her parents home,
79-14 68 rd., Middle Village. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery
under the direction of Charles MORTON, of 578 Onderdonk ave.
August WALTERS died saturday at his home, 1748 Dean st. He was born in
Brooklyn 43 years ago and was connected with the Department of Street
Cleaning for 21 years. he was attached to Stable "G". He is survived by 2
brothers, John and Phillip, 2 sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth KELLY and Adeline
WALTERS, 8 nieces and 6 nephews. He was a member of the R.C. Church of St.
Matthew, where requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow.
Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery under the direction of the estate of
D.J. LANFTON & Sons, 74 Utica ave.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. today at the lefferts pl. Chapel, 86
Lefferts pl., for Henry J. CLARK, who died Friday at his home, 151 Hall st.
He was 71 years old and had been a resident of Brooklyn for many years.
Interment will be under direction of Fairchild Sons.
