Civilian Conservation Corp. Started during the New Deal about 1934-5 to
employ starving married men first, then single men if they had enough in the
budget for that state.in building schools, roads, working in National Parks
etc. it lasted till the 2nd WW. do a google search, it saved lots of kids
from starving. In Connecticut they build grammer schools, I went to one in
Wilton.
