Obituaries

Josephine O’CONNELL died Monday at her home, 708 Monroe street. She was
born in County Limerick, Ireland and lived for thirty years in Brooklyn. She
is survived by her husband, Martin J.; one daughter, Katherine; two sons,
Joseph and Cornelius; five sisters and four brothers. She was a member of the
R. C. Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, where requiem mass will be
celebrated at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery
under direction of Feney & Sons, 1857 Broadway.

John REILLY died yesterday at his home, 85 Lorraine street. He was a life
resident of Brooklyn and is survived by his widow, Dora HENEBRY REILLY; two
daughters, Mrs. Frank McGLYNN and Dorothy REILLY; a sister, Mrs. James
ELDRIDGE, and a brother James REILLY. The funeral will be held at 9:30 A.M.
with requiem mass at the R. C. Church of the Visitation. Interment will be at
Calvary Cemetery under direction of Joseph Redmond, 90 King street.

Thomas HEALY, formerly a resident of Brooklyn, died Monday at his home, 541
East 150th street, the Bronx. He was born in County Limerick, Ireland and
lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn for fifteen years. He is survived by four
daughters, Mrs. Anna McGUIRE, Mrs. Helen McCARTHY, Mrs. Catherine SHERIDAN and
Mrs. Margaret Erickson; four sons, Jeremiah, James, Thomas and Michael HEALY;
a sister, Mrs. Ellen Morrissey and 19 grandchildren. He was a member of the R.
C. Church of St. Pius, the Bronx, where requiem mass will be celebrated at
9:30 A.M. tomorrow. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery under direction of
Feeney & Sons, 1857 Broadway.
